Berdasarkan Keputusan Gubernur, KAN Ujung Gading Pasaman Barat Ditetapkan Raih Terbaik II se Sumatera Barat

Kerapatan Adat Nagari (KAN) Ujung Gading, Kecamatan Lembah Melintang, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat ditetapkan sebagai KAN Terbaik II se-Sumatera Barat dalam Penilaian KAN Terbaik Tingkat Provinsi Sumatera Baratb tahun 2022 ini. Penetapan pemenang penilaian KAN tersebut berdasarkan Keputusan Gubernur Sumbar Nomor 410-754-2022, 13 Oktober 2022.
Kepala Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Nagari (DPMN), Randy Hendrawan menjelaskan bahwa penilaian Kerapatan Adat Nagari (KAN) dilakukan dalam rangka meningkatkan peran dan fungsi KAN sebagai organisasi Niniak Mamak (Penghulu) yang bertujuan memasyarakatkan nilai-nilai adat di tengah-tengah kehidupan masyarakat. Penilaian KAN terbaik di tingkat Provinsi Sumatera Barat telah dilakukan oleh tim penilai pada beberapa waktu lalu.
“Alhamdulillah, KAN Ujung Gading mewakili Kabupaten Pasaman Barat terpilih sebagai terbaik II se- Sumbar tahun 2022, berdasarkan SK Gubernur Sumbar yang disampaikan kepada kita. Untuk itu, selamat kepada KAN Ujung Gading yang telah berhasil mengharumkan nama Kabupaten Pasbar melalui prestasi ini, dan terima kasih telah menyiapkan secara maksimal dalam penilaian ini,” kata Randy Hendrawan.
Randy Hendrawan juga mengucapkan terima kasih kepada bupati, wakil bupati, sekda Pasbar dan stakeholder terkait, serta semua pihak yang telah ikut mensukseskan penilaian terhadap KAN Ujung Gading di tingkat Provinsi Sumatera Barat tersebut.
Dengan adanya penilaian KAN ini, memperlihatkan jalannya organisasi KAN dan bagaimana penyelenggaraan KAN sesuai adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi kitabullah.
“Ini merupakan program unggulan Gubernur Sumbar. Aspek penilaian meliputi aspek kelembagaan, aspek penyelenggaraan adat, aspek kompetensi, serta aspek kerjasama antar lembaga. Program ini juga didukung oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Pasaman Barat di bawah kepemimpinan Bupati Hamsuardi dan Wakil Bupati Risnawanto,” ujar Randy Hendrawan.
Ia menambahkan dengan diraihnya KAN Ujung Gading sebagai pemenang terbaik kedua se-Sumbar tersebut, bisa memotivasi KAN nagari lainnya di Pasbar.
“Karena KAN adalah lembaga perwakilan permusyawaratan dan permufakatan adat tertinggi, yang telah ada dan diwarisi secara turun-temurun di tengah-tengah masyarakat nagari di Sumatera Barat,” katanya. (an)
