Hadapi Pergantian Periode Kepala Daerah, Pemko Padang Panjang Gelar Forum Konsultasi Publik RPD 2024 – 2026

Hadapi pergantian periode Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota, Pemerintah Kota menggelar Forum Konsultasi Publik Rancangan Rencana Pembangunan Daerah (RPD) Kota Padang Panjang 2024-2026, di Hall Bappeda, Rabu (28/12).
Wakil Wali Kota, Drs. Asrul, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan, 2023 merupakan tahun terakhir RPJMD Kota Padang Panjang 2018-2023. Ini diibaratkan sebuah pertandingan maka 2023 nanti adalah partai finalnya.
“Kami sangat mengapresiasi Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (Bappeda) yang sudah menyikapi ketentuan sejak jauh-jauh hari, dengan cara mulai menyusun rancangan RPD. Ini tujuannya agar tidak terjadi kekosongan dokumen perencanaan jangka menengah pada 2024-2026 nantinya,” ujarnya.
Ia juga mengatakan, adanya dokumen RPD ini sangat penting karena apa yang sudah dicapai dalam lima tahun terakhir harus dilanjutkan dan tetap berkesinambungan.
“Tahun 2018-2023 banyak prioritas pembangunan yang sudah dilaksanakan. Di antaranya Smart City, Smart Surau, Badan Pengelola Islamic Center, beasiswa, Pasar SNI, Rumah Wirausaha, koperasi syariah, pemulihan ekonomi pascapandemi, revitalisasi Pasar Kuliner dan sarana prasarana lainnya. Juga sudah menjadi tuan rumah berbagai event. Seperti KBN, ICGE, Temu Penyair Asia Tenggara, MTQ tingkat provinsi dan lainnya,” papar Wawako Asrul.
Ia juga menyampaikan siapapun yang menjadi Pj wali kota nantinya, agar dapat menjaga hal tersebut selama masa transisi.
“Siapapun yang menjadi wako dan wawako terpilih nantinya, agar dapat mempertimbangkan melanjutkan pembangunan, tanpa ada yang disia-siakan,” tuturnya lagi.
Pada Forum Konsultasi Publik ini ditunjuk sebagai pembicara, di antaranya Kepala Bappeda Provinsi Sumatera Barat, Medi Iswandi, S.T, M.M dan Kepala Bappeda Kota Padang Panjang, Rusdianto, S.IP, M.M.
Ikut hadir Sekretaris Daerah Kota, Sonny Budaya Putra, A.P, M.Si, Wakil Ketua TP-PKK, Nova Era Yhanti Asrul, staf ahli, asisten, kepala OPD, camat, kepala BPS, ketua KAN, ketua MUI, ketua Baznas, Dewan Pendidikan, pimpinan organisasi sosial kemasyarakatan, organisasi pemuda, organisasi profesi dan dunia usaha.
